Aether Candace Interview on Nationwide 90 FM in Jamaica
I’ve been tasking myself with being more vocal about things that are going on in my favor. I used to be the type of person who would experience a win and then bury myself in my extensive workload. Meanwhile, in my regular life, I had people reaching out o me to say, “Whatever happened with that…” and I would say, “Oh yeah, I got the chance to ______.” It’s weird because I never had an issue speaking about the success and progress of others, but speaking about my own was always put on the back burner. Healing work has helped fix that issue.

Yesterday morning, I got a Whatsapp message from Michelle McCrae-Smith, a radio show producer I met at the Women’s Brunch. She asked if I could join the Every Woman Radio Show, hosted by Emprezz Golding on Nationwide Radio 90FM, a Jamaican Radio station. The opportunity was for that day at 1:35 PM. I was thrilled and adjusted my schedule accordingly.
I should have sent a message out on this platform so that more of my people could tune in live, but I was so busy getting regular life together - getting my middle girl off to school for her lovely evening shift, setting the crockpot, and mentally preparing for such an occasion. Thank you to everyone who was able to tune in live to listen and interact.
I could tell Michelle McCrae-Smith took notes at the Women’s Brunch, but I didn’t realize exactly how detailed her notes were. The interview said it all. When she contacted me about the interview, she didn’t ask me any prep questions, and I realized why during the interview. There was no need. Michelle’s notes from the Flawless Chat’s Women’s Brunch were so thorough, and the evidence was reflected in the questions asked during the interview. Please understand that I am not just blowing smoke about the quality of Michelle’s work. Way back in 2005, I produced a TV show and produced a podcast with a live audience before they called them podcasts in 2011, so I intimately understand her position.
Emprezz Goulding was the host, and she did a great job of keeping the show lively, being direct with her questions, and making sure the audience had a learning experience. There is a lot of tea that can be spilled with my story, but at the end of the day, I want to share my lessons to help others understand the social risks of the world and to make better decisions in love, life, career, and business. I love the way Emprezz Golding kept the interview educational.
